Our sessions are for children and young people who have an ASD or other Neurodiverse Diagnosis who are interested in participating in football. Camps are mixed ability and experienced as well as being mixed aged from 10 to 15. Our camps are about using football to create a fun and safe space young people can get together and enjoy participating and making new friends.
Camp notes
Equipment / Clothing: All we require is you child wears clothing that is suitable for Sport. We are happy that everyone can wear whatever is comfortable for them. This also applies for footwear, while the footwear choice must be suitable for playing football. The camp sessions will take place on a 2G astro turf.
Snacks / Drinks: We recommend all players bring plenty to drink throughout the day to keep hydrated and energised. We strongly do not recommend fizzy or caffeinated drinks however. Participants are also invited to bring along small snacks they can have during a break. Breaks will be short but plentiful with a full 2 hours so I wouldn’t recommend a full lunch or breakfast but small snacks to keep players ticking over!
Parent Supervision: We usually recommend parents stay for the first while to ensure their child is settled and comfortable. However, we do understand that with School Holiday provision this isn’t always possible so if you are heading away just let us know on the day! We have everyone’s emergency contact details anyway should we need them.
